Chinese Chicken Salad

2-3 cups cooked chicken, chopped
1 medium cabbage, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 pkg. chicken-flavored Ramen Noodles
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 2-oz. pkg. sliced almonds
3 Tbls. butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup olive oil
1/4 cup + 2 teasp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cooking Instructions:

Combine chicken, cabbage and green oinios in a large bowl. Mix well and set aside. Reserve the seasoning packet from the Ramen noodles. Place noodles in a bowl and coarsely crush. Stir in the sesame seeds and sliced almonds. Add the noodle mixture to melted butter in the skillet and cook, stirring until lightly browned. In a second bowl combine seasoning packet with sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Toss all three mixtures together 20 to 30 minutes before serving.
